New berths in Puerto Caldera inaugurated
On February 12th 2015, president Luis Guillermo Solis officially declared two new berths in the port of Puerto Caldera open for business. After several years of construction, the port of Caldera now counts with 5 berths in total, and an extended breakwater. Also the depths alongside the piers were increased. Further to these investments, recently a second 120mt SWL mobile crane was delivered, together with a smaller 40 mt SWL crane.
